Moore Monument and Granite Co. of Sterling sent five employees to learn more about preserving history. The Historical Gravestone and Cemetery Monuments Preservation and Restoration Class was held at the Campbell Center in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. The class was taught by Jonathan Appell from West Hartford, Connecticut. Jonathan travels around the world teaching cemetery preservation and restoration techniques.
